If you’re looking for Ohio family fun on Put-In-Bay you will want to check out Perry’s Cave Family Fun Center. In one spot you’ll find six different family-friendly attraction: walk through the beautiful Butterfly House, walk down into Perry’s Cave, play a War of 18 Holes mini-golf, climb the rock wall and play a game through Fort Amaze’n! Let me tell out about the three we chose to do during this visit to Put-In-Bay.
We’ve been to Put-In-Bay before! It’s been a few years ago and you can read that post here. Our family experienced the rock wall, mini-golf and some gem mining then – as well as the Perry’s Cave and Butterfly House!
This time we were provided the three choice pass and we chose the Butterfly House, Perry’s Cave and Fort Amaze’n.
The Butterfly House
Simply gorgeous! Walk through paths of flowers and see the beautiful butterflies, but don’t touch! This will be a dream come true, I suspect, for some budding photographers.
Perry’s Cave
Watch your step! Once you get down there you’ll see lots of stalagmites and stalactites. Some of them are named because of what they resemble. Tour guides will share the history of the cave and share other interesting details!
Fort Amaze’n
Fort Amaze’n is an outdoor maze with walls. Race the clock to find all the letters through the maze! We weren’t able to, but you might. In addition to the family fun attractions I’ve featured in this post, Perry’s Cave Family Fun Center also has the Antique Car Museum,,which I believe is still free, and DanDee’s Snack Shack.
