This month we will be kicking off our third year of hosting a hands-on homeschool club in our home! Each year we change the central theme but it always involves group learning interaction and some fun social time.

Our very first year it was simply a Lego Club. We didn’t know if it would be a one year thing or not. After that first year the kids wanted to do it again but wanted to make it a Minecraft Club. That was year two.

This year, 2017-2018, will be our third year and I thought it would be a great idea to make this year all about STEAM (stands for science, technology, electronics, art, and math). I’m using my affiliate links below at no cost to you. Thank you for your support.

If you don’t happen to have a lot of Legos on hand like we did you can buy a set to get started. Get free shipping at the time of this post on this Lego Classic Creative Builder Box (Exclusive) at this link.

I mentioned that this year our club theme is STEAM. I’ll probably update you here at the blog on how things are going with this new theme in a few months!

For fun I wanted to do a picture tour of our first year Lego Club. I hope you enjoy the pictures. I’ll include a link to a post I wrote about starting your own Lego Club at the end of this post.

This is just a small sampling of our year. We met about every other week! If you just need to supplement your Lego stash this Lego kit might be just enough.

If you’d like to know more about how we started our Homeschool Lego Club you can get that info plus a free printable of our schedule at these links: Starting a Lego Club and free printable of our schedule at the end of this post.
