A couple years or so ago I purchased two sets of Liberty’s Kids – one for my family and one to give away! I’m finally getting around to this giveaway. And, hey, it’s an election year – a great time to brush up on our American history! I’ve used these dvds as part of our homeschooling in the past.
A sampling of episodes include:
The Boston Tea Party
The Intolerable Acts
Midnight Ride
The Second Continental Congress
Bunker Hill
Washington Takes Command
The First Fourth of July
Lafayette Arrives
The New Frontier
Valley Forge
Benedict Arnold
Deborah Samson
Born Free and Equal
We the People
As you may be able to read on the back of the case pictured below, there are some famous voices behind these characters such as Walter Cronkite (as Benjamin Franklin), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Liam Neeson and Annette Bening, to name a few.
You can also purchase (aff link) Liberty’s Kids Complete Series here.

I love America because I still have hope in it.
I love the diversity of America and the ability to work hard and increase your standard of living. Thanks for the giveaway.
I love history and I love America because of our freedoms to choose much of how we live our lives. We choose our religion, we choose our education, and for the most part we choose our medical care. I want my children to learn history because I wholeheartedly believe those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it.
I love America because of our freedom.
Love, love, love Liberty Kids!!! Have not gotten around to purchasing a set of our own…we would be thrilled and just in time for Christmas 🙂
