I was introduced to a new (to me) brand of sunscreen that contains natural products: Kiss My Face for kids.
Kiss My Face comes in blue, pink and clear and is 100% natural. The pink and blue actually rub on in color and when the color fades you know you need to reapply. Rub this stick on those little noses, ears and cheeks. Since I only have boys I opened up the blue and tried it on my boys. I let them put it on their own faces before we left home and headed for the Sunday School class slip ‘n slide activity. See my video below or click here to find it.
Ok. So I what I noticed is that the stick can rub on thick and is hard to get all off. We were only at the activity for about 2 hours, maybe less and it wasn’t swimming, it was just slip ‘n slide/ water hose fun and it was not a really hot day. That may be why the blue stayed on Brendan’s face. Hours later, at bedtime, it was still on and would not all come off easily. My recommendation would be that mom or dad would be better off applying the sunscreen so it’s not applied too thick and then spread it around a bit with your hand, lightly.
I like having the option of a more natural sunscreen, I’ve even looked into making one myself before I received Kiss My Face to review. I’m not sure you can make a natural sunscreen without titanium oxide (which is in this product too) so I’ve never tried to make my own.
