[If you’re reading this in email you’ll have to click through to see the video of our arriving upon the Festival. You’ll get a good idea of just how big it is and then be sure to follow my series to learn more about all that the Bob Evans Festival offers families!]
The Homestead
One of the first things we did upon arriving at the Festival was to tour the home that Bob and Jewell Evans lived in for about 17 years known as the “homestead”. It was built in 1820 and at some point used as a stage coach and inn. The inside is now a museum. I did get some video of the inside and I may share a little bit in the next post.
Something else coming up in a future post will be the log cabins that were brought to his property, built in the 1800’s. I love history and find things like this very interesting. I hope you enjoy this blog series on our time in Gallia County, Ohio!

Disclosure: I was invited to be one of the Bob Evans Blogger Correspondents this year and as such my family received a similar package as the winner of the Bob Evan’s giveaway recipient which included such things as gas money, hotel accommodations, free admission and free meals while attending the festival over the weekend. All opinions are my own.
Oww that boy is so cute! I’m sure you’ll not get bored when you’re with him. I like festivals. There’s a lot of people you can hang out with and many activities to do
