There are many things for families to do in Stark County and, for sure, one of the biggest attractions to our area would be the Pro Football Hall of Fame located in Canton, Ohio. I’ll have a $5 off code for you at the end of this post!

Take the kids to The Hall

For over a decade our family lived within walking distance of the Pro Football Hall of Fame so we witnessed the masses coming to the area during the HOF festival week summer after summer.

The festive spirit was in the air as neighbors would camp out in the yards with friends and HOF guests often paid to park on the properties. It was an exciting time!

Our home and probably most of our street, by now, has been purchased for the expansion plans of the Pro Football Hall of Fame which include a hotel and indoor waterpark!

The Pro Football Hall of Fame experience isn’t limited to a one week summer festival though, guests can visit the museum throughout the year! A couple weeks ago our family did just that by invitation.

This was my first time in the museum and I really enjoyed myself because I’m a history-buff, not a “sports-fan”. I was fascinated with the history in the museum and having the personal tour guide really made a difference!

The “Pro Football Today Gallery,” which is filled with mementos from recent history-making performances and milestone moments from the current NFL season.

Interactive, hands-on experiences including a Madden EA Sports video game suite.

I highly recommend the guided tour! The museum is clearly a classy place and I was not disappointed! You can certainly take the kids to the Pro Football Hall of Fame museum. Our family spent about 2-3 hours there on our visit.
