Not long ago I saw a sign that expressed the following sentiment:  “Summer should get a speeding ticket.”

 

Isn’t that the truth? I mean, summer, in terms of our kids and the school year…just flies by.

 

Since I homeschool my boys I’m not only their mom but their teacher so in essence the summer still means work for me. Not only do I use the internet to find recipes for feeding our family I use it to research and purchase curriculum. It’s also a very necessary tool for my writing/blogging work.

 

One of the advantages of homeschooling is having the flexibility to travel when the tourist season ends with kids going back to school. This year our family is planning to take possibly two long distance trips during the school year.

Unlimited data is an amazing feature to have for travels. Generally speaking, I know I use my phone data for finding directions, online phone numbers, checking email, sharing pictures on social media, for my work, and to keep in touch with family, friends and the occasional emergency. I’ve had my share of flat tires.

 

 

Some other points to consider regarding Walmart Family Mobile. There are…

• no contracts
• no activation fees
• no late fees
• easy to start or switch

 

I don’t know how many different ways you use your phone, but my phone is a very necessary tool for my travel writing and I need to access the internet on many of our trips. I also want to know I can call or text as often as I want or need to.

 

 

Unlimited data, to me, means I could entertain the kids on long drives and still be able to access my email and get directions if I need to find a new route.
