I’ve been sharing about Hard Candy cosmetics on and off for a while now since I’ve received them to try. I truly have been won over by this brand for two reasons – affordability and quality. Two things I want you to realize is that I’m sharing my honest opinions based on my use of these products I’ve received free to review and I have not been paid for this post.
So, I received some of the Hard Candy Hydrating Lip Stains in both Matte and Glossy. In the picture below you’ll see me wearing Pulse in the Glossy Hydrating Lip Stain. I’ve also tried the matte. Since I have the Glossy on at the moment I can tell that it feels good and moisturizing, not sticky. It reminds me of my own homemade body butter that I sometimes use on my lips except this feels like it will keep my lips protected and moisturized longer.
If you’re looking for a more mute look, go with the matte! However you can use the matte to give your lips some color and then go over it with a clear gloss if you want. These lip stains would make GREAT stocking stuffers at just $5 a piece! There are eight shades in the glossy and seven in the matte to choose from.
The glossy formula contains 44% lip conditioners and with the precision tip you can both line your lips and fill them in. The matte lip crayon formula contains tropical butters and oils to moisturize. Both are retractable pencils which means you don’t need an additional sharpener!
Now let’s talk about this room pink cosmetic bag that I received to review as well! Let me tell you, I know it’s a makeup bag, but I recently used it to hold some of my things when we traveled to Florida last month. The bottom of the bag has a zipper to expand! The bag is roughly 10.5″ by 6.5″.
Hard Candy products are exclusively carried by Walmart. See all my stocking stuffer ideas here!
