I’m giving away tickets to the Columbus Dispatch Home & Garden Show – good for any day of the show. The information below highlights Kid’s Day, March 1st!

Columbus, Ohio—The Columbus Dispatch Home & Garden Show which annually draws thousands of visitors for ideas and inspirations for the home from hundreds of vendors, invites families to enjoy additional activities for children on Saturday, March 1.

 

The fun for kids begins at 10:15 a.m. at the Simple Bath Ohio Home Stage when Pleasure Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital presents a sneak peek of its upcoming show, Shrek The Musical. Following the performance, Colin Sweet of The Kitchen, will show kids how to make candy Swamp Treats.

 

Other scheduled Kids’ Day attractions include: How to Build a Fairy Garden, Make and Take Origami Flowers, furry friends from The Columbus Zoo, Dr. Insecta’s Incredible Unforgettable Bug Lab Experience, Paint Swatch Origami with Sherwin Williams and birdhouse building.

 

The Columbus Dispatch Home & Garden

Where: Ohio Expo Center at the State Fairgrounds

Admission is $11 online/ $12 at door for Adults

Children 12 & under are FREE

Parking is $5.00/$5.25 (credit)

Show dates/hours: February 22 – March 2nd…

    • Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
    • Sundays, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
    • Tuesday-Friday, noon – 8 p.m. The show is closed on Monday, Feb.  24. 

 

Save money on tickets:

New this year is “Two for Tuesday” – just show your home electric bill at the ticket window and two adults are admitted for the price of one.   Show your home electric bill on Wednesday Feb. 26 or Thursday Feb. 27 and save $3 off two adult admissions.  And AAA members save $3 off two adult admissions on Friday Feb.28 with their member card.
