Remember that KJV Q&A Series I’ve been doing? Yes, its not done. There’s so much still to say, yet I recently came across these great clips that really say a lot for me.
Do you believe the “pure words of God” were found ONLY in the “originals” like some claim – and here?
Beware of following any man or council. The God you are trusting to save your soul can surely keep his words.
Do you really believe that God only had the power to “inspire” his pure words but not the power to “preserve” them as well?
The following three clips feature Sam Gipp, author of two books I have read/or am reading: Gipp’s Understandable History of the Bible
Psalm 12:6-7 “The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”
So please, listen to the following clips and consider what the real issue is behind all the different bible versions.

Thanks for your comment, Joel. Here’s the thing. The AKJV is a transliteration (I believe is the correct term) from the manuscripts we have and we don’t have any originals. The NIV does indeed remove scripture. There is nothing scientific about this. All you have to do is look up to see which verses are missing. But, that’s the not the only bad version of the Bible. I would not trust any “modern” versions as it is my understanding they all come from Alexandrian (Egypt) manuscripts not the Antioch, Syria manuscripts used for the Authorized King James Version.
I would like to encourage you to restudy this issue. This time, do not read anything from a KJV-only source. You have already read plenty of those. Look elsewhere. There is plenty of information out there. The hardest part, is not entering into it with preconceived ideas. If you would be willing to let God speak, I promise you He will change your point of view, as He did mine. I approached this from a KJV-only point of view. Having been taught that and read books from that perspective, it all made perfect sense. I believed all the, “The NIV removes all these verses…” “Modern versions add to and take away from the Bible…” When preparing to teach a Bible study on the evils of modern versions, I realized that all those references were from the KJV. And the Lord spoke to my heart and showed me He did not write the KJV. When He said anyone who adds to or takes away from this Text, He was not referring to the KJV. Do you know how he got my attention to open my eyes to even be willing to look into it…? I read the humorous quote, “If it was good enough for Peter and Paul, it’s good enough for me!” Hmmm, the KJV wasn’t around for another 1500 yrs or so?! Wait a minute…
