A peak inside the book, from Jill…
“I would have to go back to work full-time. I tried to put on a brave face, but I was devastated. My perfect world was crumbling, and I was angry- angry with God, angry with Allen, angry even with myself for being angry. …
……
One day as I was pouring my working-woman woes out to Allen, he asked me something that got thinking. “Jill,” he said, “why have you given up? Maybe working full time is a temporary situation, and you’re spending all your time focused on how angry you are instead of how you can alter the situation.”
……
I began praying about what Allen had said, asking the Lord what His plan for my life was. After a few weeks of earnest praying about my situation, I was able to begin letting go of the bitterness that had invaded my heart. I told God that I was ready to accept whatever His plans for me were, even if that meant working full time.” pgs. 12-13
This book will help you identify the pros and cons of working from home, you’ll get a peak at what a Virtual Assistant does, Medical Transcription, Freelance Writing, Inventing, Multilevel Marketing and Direct Sales. You’ll get lists of what you may need at start-up: business supplies, necessities and essentials, even work-at-home fashion tips and so much more.

I’d like to win this book because though I am a stay at home mom, things are tight. I’ve been thinking about working at home for a while, but I don’t know where to start.
I would love to win this book. I am a teacher in public school, homeschooling my two children, thanks to my dear husband. He is trying to get his company off the ground and I am looking for a way to get back home with my children full time. I need help!!
I have been out of work following an injury in May. I would love to figure a way to earn income from home and balance home-life FROM home. Not sure if it is possible but would like to see these thoughts on it. Thanks for the chance.
I am a SAHM of two children (& we are thinking of having a third). I would love to be able to work from home to help provide for our family while getting to be here with my children at the same time. I have thought about it a lot over the past few years, but have never really known how to find this type of job (other than Mary Kay or Pampered Chef, etc). Thanks for the chance to win.
BTW…I had to LOL at “work-at-home fashion tips”. 🙂
I am a soon to be 52 year old mother and grandmother.I have already raised my three children and am now working on my granddaughter. She has been with me since birth and having to work outside of the home the first 11 years of her life has been challenging.Part of it was at home and then it was moved to an office and now it is back at home again.I am homeschooling her and work for a man who seems to put up with me working from my house.I thought it would work out, but I feel I am failing her.My desire from my first child to now is to have been able to work from home.My older children have made me feel that with them all I did was work and they are right. I do not want Celina-Marie to have to grow up seeing me fail with her to.I keep promising her that One day We will have our own business that will allow the two of us to succeed in our lives.I have already failed the first time around and I just cannot fail again.I work now 40 plus hours for a 28 hour paycheck, have taken a huge cut in pay on top of it and do not want to complain , because getting a job these days is hard.I failed my children and I don’t want to fail this time around. Please help.
I have been wondering if there is some way to make money at home. I would like to read this book for ideas. Thanks for the giveaway!
Your book would be a great blessing to me, and would surely help me to be more of a blessing to my loved ones and business associates. I’m sure there is much I could learn from it!
I’m a WAHGM – that’s: Work-At-Home-Grand-Ma. After 23 years of homeschooling and barely scraping by, I’m endeavoring to produce an income to help my youngest son pay for Bible College and Seminary while keeping myself available to babysit grandchildren and help my own mom and mom-in-law when needed. Being pulled in so many directions, I’m glad for all the help and resources I can get!
God bless you!
I’ve been a work at home mom in some capacity since I’ve been a mom – part-time at home, part-time in the office, and now full-time at home as a freelance writer. I love reading up on the topic and receiving insight from others who have had success in their WAHM experiences. There’s always room for improvement. 🙂
What a great giveaway! I have been a work at home mom for 3.5 years now and I can say that it has been a tremendous blessing. Having the opportunity to create a schedule that allows my family to come first while still being able to make an amazing income is really the greatest benefit. I would love the chance to win a copy of the book to help me maximize the efficiency of my business. Thanks for the opportunity!
Would love to win this because I would love to work from home and be there for my kids when they get home from school. If I worked outside the home, I’d have added expenses and that would defeat the purpose of me working.
