Over the next several weeks I’ll be participating in the Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse Test Drive Program. I do use a mouth-wash/rinse when I have it here at home. I just don’t always buy it. However I have learned its a good thing to use.
Sometime ago I had noticed that my teeth or gums (not sure which) would hurt when I chewed. Some of my teeth are very close together and I don’t like to floss. I’m just plain sensitive about my mouth and don’t like to even have my teeth cleaned, though I do have it done on occasion. Since we don’t have dental insurance, I don’t go to the dentist unless its been awhile or I have a pressing need to go.
Though I do brush my teeth at least twice a day, sometimes more, my last dental visit revealed I had one cavity in one of the areas where it hurt to eat. But the dentist also talked to me about flossing and how that my gums would toughen up if I’d do that. My cavity wasn’t taken care of that day because of another reason, but I went home and started using a toothpaste for sensitive teeth, flossing and using a mouth rinse and within a short period of time my mouth did start feeling better. In fact, sometimes I have no pain at all and I believe that flossing and my earlier use of a mouth wash/rinse definitely got me to where I am.
I am seeing a different dentist tomorrow about my cavity and today I am starting the Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse. I’ll let you know what I think of it 😉
A few facts about this NEW Crest rinse:
- kills germs
- helps prevent gingivitis
- freshens breath
- reduces plaque
- keeps teeth cleaner longer vs. brushing alone
- invigorating sensation
