I have posts started, waiting to be posted.
I am behind on getting out last Sunday’s SMR- which was really good – again!
Yesterday, I found myself the target of an onslaught of “fiery darts” in the name of … unforseen “probems” that forced me to change my plans and potentially caused a domino effect for others, negative thoughts from past negative experiences with others, and so on. If it wasn’t for last Sunday’s message at church, I seriously might not have made the connection that I was under personal attack.
I could have said “I’m done, I quit,… NO MORE”.
I was very upset. I think you get my drift.
But if there’s ONE thing I’ve learned its that people are not my enemies.
So who is?
- My self-centered flesh is my enemy,
- the world is my enemy (you might not understand that one unless you believe the bible),
- and the devil is my enemy.
Its the same for every believer.
And yesterday, something or someone had my number.
But today is a new day!
“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is they faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:21-23
There’s alot going on in my life right now (remember the unfinished posts?) – And I plan on sharing some great things on my blog this year related to the 400-th anniversary of the publishing of the King James Version of the bible. Which is the only version I truly believe is “pure”. And if you don’t agree me, thats fine. I know why I believe what I believe. Do you know why you believe what you believe?
