Ohio has three new food stores to help you save money and all three are located in Youngstown: Bottom Dollar Food. There are other Bottom Dollars located in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey and Maryland.
This summer our family had a chance to drive out there and check one of them out. It took us about an hour driving from Canton. I’m not very familiar with Youngstown prices so in my head I was comparing their prices to what I’d find in the Canton area. I felt depending on what products I was looking at the prices might be inline with Walmart and maybe Aldi. The store has an Aldi feel to it, but I think its considerably larger than the Aldi I’m familiar with.
Bottom Dollar Food accepts ecoupons loaded to your membership card (free to sign up) for additional savings.
The store was nicely laid out and had a feature I’ve not seen in a regular store: a walk-in refrigerated section with produce! Check their store locator to find a Bottom Dollar near you.
*We received a gift card to shop at Bottom Dollar Food to complete this review. Opinions are my own.
I think they do both because I remember buying a jar of Nutella there. Their website might say- I think all of my links in the post lead to some destination on their site if you want to hop over there and check it out. They even have a recipe or two for using items bought in their store, I believe.
Do they carry name brand or house brand items?
