Creating your own unit studies can be as easy or as hard as you want to make it. I choose easy and mostly free. I’m working with my boys on learning about the United States and the five regions it is broken down into. We happen to live in the Midwest which itself is broken down into two smaller regions called the Plains and the Great Lakes. We live in the Great Lakes region.
To see the free resources (plus the 50 cents side lesson on The Great Lakes) that I’m using you’ll have to hop over to the Prime Parents Club to read the rest. If you don’t have time to read it now (its short!) you can always Pin It to your Pinterest board for later 🙂 .
…Read the rest here. (That website has changed hands and my content is no longer there).
Thanks for having the blog hop. Those are great ways to share resources and get ideas from each other 😉

Thanks for sharing at Enchanted Homeschooling Blog Hop! This is great info and I LOVE thins that are easy and FREE! Why make things more complicated?! We’ve watched one of those videos before– my son enjoyed it!! Will have to add this to our summer learning! We’ve colored a couple pages (from Crayola) to put into a states notebook, so we’ll have to continue with that and add the videos, too!
